Thanks Neal.
Yeah, I was going to use the Raw format once I get my new SDHC card. The 1GB SD one just wouldn’t cut it.
I’ve been meaning to check out Lightroom for a while now. Glad to hear you mention good things about this software. Can’t wait for the weekend to take my baby out for the first time.

Congrats to your new Camera.

You should set your camera to shoot in the “Raw”-format. It stores the images in a 32-bit colorspace, which uses more diskspace but allows for better tone corrections on the computer when you develop your shots.

I prefer using Adobe Lightroom to develop my shots. It has a nicer workflow for Raw-files

I really agree with your statement.
I started studying two months after my classmates. And instead to get support and help from my profs, they told me that they see a lesser chance for me to survive the first semester. I think this point of view is typical for the German education system. You become evaluated by your grades and this can often make you feel down instead of increasing self-confidence. If German universities, schools (even employers) would not like to lose their quality and good reputation, we have to change this attitude, otherwise I feel gloomy about the future.

I hope you keep going in believing in your prowess. Your artwork and commitment here in the internet show how much grades really count
